GUYS!!!!
I know I havent posted in a few days as usual its because I am lazy and also because my life isn't always very entertaining. Also on some days I cant remember how to spell good and I give up on typing because reading just seems too hard for me to concentrate on.
On Tuesday I did get my hair done by a profesh for the first time in years. I was terrified. But amazingly it looks ok. I got highlights....I am turning into a real girl I fear. I also got to eat lunch with a few of my lady friends I went to Paul Mitchell with. We ate at the Farmers Market, I had tamales and rice...I eat my weight in rice everyday I think. I really should of been born Asian like my cousins.
Today was not my day!! I got a ticket for speeding because I was passing this moron who was riding his breaks. I can not stand people who cant drive, it makes my blood boil and some people actually need to get to work on time so I sped up and got nabbed. God Dang It! Upset!!!
Yesterday I worked my butt off doing a Tammy Anderson DVD and HELLO I am so sore. Shes a fitness coach to celebs like the Kardashians so I figured if it works for them it will work for me. I love to work out even though you prolly cant tell by looking at my body. I am really tall for a girl but not overly fit. I am trying to change this fact. Dont worry Tammy we will be seeing a lot of each other in the near future....like as soon as I am finished writing this post. Really I should of already worked out today but sometimes I get lazy and procrastinate.
Also my brother is one of those people that thinks he can sing really well but he is actually completely tone deaf. He is outside my door right now "singing"...my ears may start bleeding here soon. I give permission for one of you guys to save me. I cant sing but at least I admit to it, he really honestly thinks he has a great voice but it kinda reminds me of if Rebecca Black were a boy. And why he must do it outside my door when he has the whole rest of the house is beyond me.
Last night I made dinner for myself. It was very complicated dont worry I wrote down the recipe.
Make Rice
Make corn
Open Can of Tuna
Mix all together
Add Cheese
Taste
Add Cheese
I also ate this for lunch today. Believe me when I say it is for champions only. Its is so good if you arent prepared properly then you may explode with greatness. You may also add pasta in the mix as well, do not fear this meal is also very healthy...I promise!
This is all!! If I never post again it is simply because my brothers horrible singing burned my brain to a crisp.
I like bad hair cuts and getting heavy, I aspire to be awesome one day. Hopefully sooner rather then later.

artsy fartsy
I have been on a bit of an etsy bender lately, combing shops for anything that catches my eye. Ive mostly been into paintings, prints, animal heads, things I can hangup. I have never really been into knick-nacks as I hate clutter and things just lying around.
I came across an artist Arian Armstrong...she makes really cute drawings and sells prints and post cards. Go ahead and take a look at her store I know you want to. I had to buy some so I got her Under the Weather and Mr.&Mrs. Beaver prints. It gave me an excuse to get out of the house to find some frames. I think they look pretty good on my wall.
I will definitely be buying from her again as not only is the quality really good but they got to me maybe two days later. Everyone hates waiting so the quicker the better!! I also finally got a frame for my limited edition Underoath poster. Yes they are my favorite band go ahead and judge me haha. Ive got a whole lot more stores bookmarked and will update as I end up buying more art for my lonely walls.
I also fell in love with tons of pieces from Tara and Moanas collection but as they are in Australia I can't really afford to buy anything from them. Sad Sad!! I love how they use various layers to make an incredible picture. If I could I would buy most of them and hang them in every space I have. This one is my favorite one!! How cute is that!!
Since Ive been in such a creative mood lately Ive been compiling more ideas for tattoos and putting them in a folder. Its about time I go get some work done. My arms are itching to be filled up. Maybe I should do a ink post but I always feel so silly when I take pictures of my work.
Anyways Im off to spend the day with my Thornado, maybe we will go to the park.

Today
When I was 17 I got sent 1000 miles away to live in a group home. Its a long story and I don't really want to explain it on here but the short end is I fought my way through and made it back to TN ahead of schedule. The last 3 years I have spent trying my best to get over what I went through and I thought that, besides a few flashbacks here and there, I was well and over it. Last week someone who was connected to the group home came to my work...the first time I have seen anyone that even knew that place existed and I had to see him at work where I could not escape. I really didn't think it would effect me like it has but I can not get the memories out of my head. This past week my mind has been playing a reel over and over and over. It feels so strange really. Back then I carefully blocked it all out thinking if I couldn't remember big chunks of my life I would get over it quicker...but Im remembering things now. Sorry to not be light and cheerful but I am kind of a wreck currently. I wish I had someone who knows what Im talking about to chat with. No one here can possibly understand. My poor little brain is confused and when I can sleep I have these crazy dreams that seem so real.
Have any of yall gone through something crazy hard??

Dexter
The last few days Ive been slacking on here but they have been pretty uneventful. Im currently watching the season finale of Dexter Season 3...I know I know, so far behind in picking up on this show but Im now obsessed with it. It's so addicting. I just want to know why the 4th season isn't on Netflix, actually all of the seasons besides the first one are missing. Hey guys dont take my addiction away!!
Anyways Jess is in bar-tending school now...well almost done with it as its only a 2 week course...so we have been actually trying new drinks. Last weekend we drank apple martinis. I hate to admit it but they were really good even though I was very embarrassed to drink them. Girly drinks aren't really my thing. Give me a PBR over that stuff any day. We did get a bit silly really quickly but then we just fell asleep...we are such old people. I really like being us though. We watch movies, occasionally drink and just chill. Its so much better then riding up my anxiety going to parties and trying to act like Im not shy.
And lastly I know I keep saying art art fart sooo here is a painting I did a few years ago. I know its not recent but I really really love this piece and Im proud of what I did. I hope yall like it.

Hedgehog Heaven
So I have been wanting a hedgehog for years and a few weeks ago I heard about a lady who was trying to get rid of her. I of course jumped at the chance to get him and went to pick him up this Wednesday. He was a classroom pet for little children which is apparently a bad idea as this little guys dont like all that noise.
I havent really decided yet if Im going to keep him or not, he's really grumpy and tries to bite me whenever I pick him up, because of that I havent settled on a name...I was thinking about Oprah as a joke or Hedwig cause I am a huuuuge Harry Potter fan.
I feel like I am in a bit over my head with trying to get him socialized. He really really hates people but I am trying. Right now he's on the kitchen table beside my computer snuggling with some gloves. He seems to like fuzzy things the best. When he gets really mad he runs figure 8s around his cage for about an hour.
He is so darn cute though I cant help but be attached to him already. Yall would die if yall saw him search for food, he snuffles around his cage making little noises. So adorable.
I tried to snap a few pictures, they aren't the best as he also doesn't like having his picture taken. Hopefully as time goes on he gets over that. Me and Jess have been watching tons of cute hedgie vids on YouTube they are the best.
Oh goodness if I could carefully get a pic of what hes doing right now. Nibbling very daintily on these gloves. Well I kinda got it. Its a bit blurry but yall will get the point.
Isn't he precious? Do yall have any other name ideas? Any one else have weird pets?

Im going going back back to cali cali
Not really but I decided that since I cant for the life of me get my pictures off of my cameras then Ill just tell y'all what I did and all that loveliness then Ill do a bit of a photo dump later on. I warn you this post is going to be verrry longgggg!!!
Anyways Thursday night was St Patty's day, I didn't wear green to work but I do have much green in my tattoos so I figured that was acceptable. My boss brought these huge blinky light glasses that I decided I had to wear all day long.
After work I went home to pack but I ended up mostly just watching Dexter and playing with Thor. I couldn't sleep because I was nervous about flying on the plane alone the next day.
Friday morning I got up, took Thor to the kennel, went to the bank and finished my packing before being dropped off at the airport two hours early. I got lost several times before I found my gate and settled in to read. This funny little security man let me skip all of the line because he said he liked my plugs. I enjoyed that.
We got on the plane, had some technical difficulties which was scary because the didn't explain the problem very well. I arrived in Dallas and promptly got lost on the way to my next gate so I decided to stop and eat before going on but the prices were so ridiculous it took me a while to convince myself to get something.
Finally at 6ish that night I arrived in Los Angelos and realized that I forgot to get my id back from security in the airport in Nashville. I tried not to freak out and caught a car to the hotel to eat with my parents. We went to this amazing little place called the RockNFish. Hellooo!!! It was so yummy. I got grilled artichoke, mom got crab pasta with corn sauce and my pops got crab-cakes with baked potato and macaroni. Our waiter was really funny and kept making fun of us being southern and for drinking water instead of alcohol. They also had really good taffy mints for afterwards. I need to find more of these!!
We went back to the hotel room next to watch a little bit of the tube before falling asleep exhausted from travel.
The next day we woke up bright and early to spend the day in San Diego. Its about a two hour drive from LA so we wanted to start as soon as we could. On the way there we stopped in Huntington Beach at a little bagel shop, I am obsessed with bagels! I would eat them for every meal if it wouldn't make me big as a horse. It was really rainy and overcast when we arrived. We were all freezing cold and were wondering what in the world had happened to this sunny California we had heard about. I seriously took way too many pictures of all the animals in that zoo, my favorites are the big cats and monkeys. You SoCal people are so lucky to have such a great place to go to.
The weather eventually picked up so we had a nice drive back to LA, stopping in Laguna Beach for a while to see the sites. Now if I could live anywhere in CA I would definitely live in Laguna Beach, its beauty captures me. I didnt know where we should eat so I asked some local bloggers and the lovely Bridgette Blonde told us to go to In&Out Burger. I am the worst person in the world at finding places but eventually we got to one and man that place was hopping. We all ordered a burger and shake. I thought it was just going to be a lot of hype but I was surprised and enjoyed it. Can we get one in Nashville please y'all?
Sunday was a horribly miserably cold rainy day. We literally drove all over Southern CA trying to escape the rain and see the sites but no such luck. (we did see snow though, how bizarre) I was car sick and slept most of the day so I dont remember a whole lot. We did try to visit one of my friends in Paso Robles but he wasn't home from Vegas yet. I am still very bitter about this!! I miss my transplant Nashville friends when they leave. I will tell you the SLO area is gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!!! I understand why he moved back now that I have been there myself.
That night we ate at a sea food restaurant in Santa Barbara right on the pier. It was still rainy and my nausea was out of this world but I still ate a crab. I took a pretty awesome picture of the little dude right before he got in my belly.
Monday my mom had to go back to work and it was still rainy so me and my dad stayed in the room until the afternoon. Thankfully the day ended up being beautiful so I GOT TO GO TO THE BEACH!!! We ventured out to Manhattan Beach after eating at Wahoos fish tacos. The thought of a fish taco sounds so disgusting to me. I did not eat one!! I did have some tasty enchiladas and tacos though, fish not included.
The beach was lovely, tons of people were out soaking up the sun even though it was still pretty chilly out. The houses along the boardwalk were so amazing. I tried to not look so obvious that I was lurking in all of them, I couldn't help myself though. I even took some sneaky pictures of them muahahah. I was supposed to hangout with my friend Josh all day but he is really slow soooo after our 3 hour walk we went back to the hotel to wait for my mom to get off of work. We went out to eat at a horrible little Italian restaurant, I was not in the mood. It was so cold I didnt want to be outside. Eventually Josh came to pick me up, we went to the pier in Santa Monica. It was freezing but really pretty. I saw a sea lion in the water and we went underneath the pier. It was kinda creepy lost boysish-like. I, of course, being the awesome clumsy person I am fell in the water a little bit when a wave came up. Yes I did get my shoes sopping wet and covered in sand. Did I also mention that I had to be on a plane at 4am the next morning? Well, I did. We walked back over a bridge to his car and back to his house. I really enjoyed hanging out and wish we would of had more time but I had to at least get a little bit of sleep before my full day of travel.
After only 3 hours of sleep I got up to go to the airport. It was still freezing, it was a pain in the arse to get though security...apparently if you forget your id then you are in fact a terrorist. It was a pretty uneventful day besides the fact that our plan was delayed and then it took me over an hour for the special people at the airport to finally find my id.
My grampa picked me up then I went to get my Thorbles and hangout with Jess. All in all it was a very good trip and Im already itching to go to explore some more. I hope next time I go my friends actually make time for myself. That would be pretty nice. Actually I think it would be pretty fun to live there for a few months, that is if it wasn't so darn expensive.
Ill try to get my pictures working and up sometime this week. I also need to do that art post I have been talking about and introduce my crazy hedgie friend. Hes pretty much a nut I can already tell.

IM BAAACk
I got back from California yesterday afternoon and feel like Ive been running around like a chicken with its head cut off since then.
I was going to write a blog post yesterday with an art update to keep yall tied over till I compiled my post about my trip but I cant for the life of me get pictures off of my devices right now. Now I know Im not the best at technology but everyone knows how to download pictures right?
Maybe my phone is messed up (hopefully not) but I will try to get it back up and running as soon as I can.
I know yall are sooo anxious right? Haha
Yesterday after I got back Jess came and picked me up to take me to eat at Qdoba which made me a happy camper. The weather was so nice that we went and walked around downtown for a couple of hours. I love the west coast don't get me wrong but Nashville is my heart and soul. Whenever I leave the south I feel my roots deep in my bones, calling me home. I love it here!! There really isn't a whole let better to me then sitting down at river front, leaning on friends, talking about life with some good blues playing in the background. Call me crazy but that is ideal!
After we left downtown he dropped me off at home where I was alone for the first time in quite a while so I decided to take that opportunity to catch up on Californication and wax myself. I am not the most confident body waxer so when I can I try to let my hairs grow out so I can practice on myself. This is my life haha. At least Im devoted right??
Well Im off to get ready for the day. This teacher gave me the opportunity to get her hedgehog since she is quitting teaching so Im going to go pick her up then meet with my friend Jenny for pizza and girl talk. Hooray I finally get a hedgie!! Ive been waiting for years for this!
