Hey yall,

I know I haven't posted in forever but a lot of stuff has gone on and changed and happened and occurred the past however long its been since I stopped blogging. My point is I'm going to give it another go. I have some bike adventures and recipes and life events that I need to share.

Womens Bike Blogs

I again was lurking away at my stats and saw this. It sparked my curiosity so I went a looking and was pretty stoked to find my little ole blog mentioned on its pages. Its a list of lady bikers who blog about their experiences. I am now following a ton more women and have a lot more reading to do. I prolly should start riding again. I haven't ridden much since my wreck. I actually busted my knees worse then I had originally thought and its just been too painful to deal with.

Also on that page it says I am based outta Australia...Im not really yall dont be confused lol. I wish I lived there that'd be rad as all get out.

Anyways who is stoked for Turkeyday?? I sure am! I have been cooking my jolly little butt off.

I know I need to write a little posty but Im not feeling it. Today I found out that after being scared for months I do not in fact have ovarian cancer. Thank goodness. I am very happy about that obviously. Its been a weird couplea months thats for sure.

I took my little lady Luna out for a brisk 8 mile spin around the greenway. That helped lift my spirits a whole lot.

I have really really fallen completely in love with my bike. I know I know quit talking about it right?
 Never!! I love it so much! Me and dad have been going on rides at least once a day. Yesterday I finally got up this monster hill without having to get up and push it, that's been my goal since before I got this bike so Im pretty excited to finally meet it! We are going to the Greenway this weekend and trying to do whole thing, from Donelson to Shelby bottoms!! I dont know how long that actually is but its pretty dang far Im sure!
I am starting to look for a street bike for my dad right now. I found one a few minutes ago, but literally seconds after he posted it and I emailed him, he replied back with it was already spoken for. Major bummer wave yall! Oh well Ill carry on!!
I need some more bike riding friends...anyone wanna come ride with me? It'll be fun I promise! We are going to a silly action photo shoot soon, yes I will be posting the pictures.
My dads always been a bit of an entrepreneur so he's been brain storming how to do something profitable in the bike business. I hope we come up with something awesome, I know I could be pretty content surrounding myself with all things wheeled!!

June 3rd

I kinda hate having to figure out a title for my posts. I am running out of ideas already!!!
Anyways Saturday I ended up getting to leave work even earlier then planned because all my clients ending up cancelling and I didnt see a point in sitting around hoping for some walk ins. Plus I didnt really feel too hot so it all worked out.

I went home took a tiny nap then went on a bike ride with my dad, I braved a busyish road and I didnt even fall over. Pretty proud moment if I say so myself. After that me and my mom spent like 3 hours in the grocery store, whoevers idea it was to go grocery shopping on a Saturday afternoon needs to be punished. It took so long to get there and back, then we had to put everything away and start on dinner. We ended up just making spaghetti since we were short on time and had to make a cake for my cousins birthday as well.( P.s. my baby cousin turned 18 today, I know I am only 20 but it is making me feel so old!!! I need the clocks to stop!) Me and dad went on another bike ride after dinner and I must say I am really starting to get the hang of it. I need to tweak a few things and then itll be perfect, I am even getting used to the curved handlebars which I originally hated.

I am really excited for all the activities on the 4th! Hopefully a lot of friends I havent seen will end up getting to hangout finally!!

Whats in a name

I need to name my bike but I am at a loss as to what to name it.
Me and my pops are going to go out on a ride tonight when I get off work and hopefully Ill come up with something then. I am so stinking excited to have finally found one still. It makes me want to get off work even worse now so I can go ride.

Hopefully this will further motivate me to keep exercising and staying fit!!

Well Im at work and I have a client coming in so this one has to be short but Ill be back to update asap. Im going to try to sponsor some blogs this month. Taking a leap of blogfaith!!!

Today is a dang great day!!
After being awake listening to it storm all night and our power going out I missed my dentist appointment this morning so I figured it was not going to be a good day. Thankfully I was wrong.

Its funny how sometimes my dad is my worst enemy and other times he can be my best friend you know? We started off the morning right by going on a 4 mile walk at the Greenway then we went home to unstink ourselves before going to lunch. My dad has an obsession with Meat and Threes so we went to a delish place around the corner called Call's. Its a quaint little place with the best Chicken n' Dressing in town.
We both love to explore so after this we set off to the Old Hickory area for some house lurking. I found a few that I would love to buy...or at least live at. They are all perfect precious little houses that would fit for a child named Kelley.

This one is my favorite. Its surprising how affordable these houses are. Of course I dont have alot of credit as I'm only 21 but hey whatever its fun to look right?!
So after we drove around for a while we went home and basically right after getting home a guy finally texted me back telling me about the best part of the day!!

I have been looking for a bike for quite a while now and finally found one that I love for a great price. Its so exciting! I have been using Cristie from A city birds nest as my friendly guide into the world of bikes. She has been so great in helping me find the perfect one. Ive been trolling dear old Craigslist non stop and finally came upon this Raleigh 12 speed. Its super light and the perfect size for me annnnd its red which is also the color of my Beetle. The tires are pretty old and busted so the duder I got it from even gave me some replacements for FREEEE!! Pretty dang nice if you ask me Yes indeed. I can not wait to be biking around without falling off very soon. Actually I am very clumsy for Im sure Ill still fall but maybe not as much.
